二十世紀初 翠玉雕仿古饕餮紋小提梁蓋壺

of flattened baluster form, rising from a stepped pedestal foot to angular shoulders, a waisted neck and a galleried mouth, the neck flanked by a pair of inverted elephant heads with the trunks forming loops securing a tall narrow swing handle, the body carved with registers of archaistic taotie, kuilong scroll and pendent leaves, all between bands of keyfret at the rim and foot, the trapezoidal domed cover with🔴 a beveled oblong finial, the bluish-green stone with hunter-grꦫeen streaks (2)
