Reigning from the land of Dresden, the present Lang & Heyne beautifully displays the finest craftmanship of German watchmaking. Capturing the hearts of the discerning collector would be the white enamel dial, decorated with a sophisticated minute track and Roman numerals. What appears to be a split between a the two chronograph hands would be one to track the seconds, and another to track the minutes. The manual winding caliber IV provides a spectacular single button chronograph which could be observed through the sapphire display back. The start, stop and reset could all be controlled through one button. The column wheel mechanism was designed to have the seconds and minutes counter both act at the centre of the watch. Assembled on a three quarter plate and exhibiting a swan-neck for fine adjustment, the present watch is a true exemplifier of German watchmaking, offering the highest precision completed by the most traditional watchmaking methods.
