The Aquanaut was initially introduced back in 1997 based on the design of a Nautilus, aiming to attract more younger audience to the brand. The present watch reference 5060 was officially unveiled to the market as the "Nautilus-Aquanaut", a small detail could be found on early examples where the folding clasp was engraved with " Patek Philippe" and "Nautilus". This reference was produced in a limited run of around 1000 pieces in total with stainless steel and yellow gold.
