Meiji period, late 19th century 


the iron cabinet inlaid in silver and gold hirazogan and nunumezogan, the door with a village scene, the sides with various shaped panels of fans, poem papers and cherry blossom depicting flowers and foliage, all inset on a silver hanabishi ground, the silver loop handle engraved with grape vine, the interior with three various sized burlwood drawers, the interior of the door with a flowering vine, signed to the interior lock plate Kyoto Ju Komai sei (made by Komai, a resident of Kyoto),
