the oviform vase with ring neck tapering towards the foot, decorated with various open fans inlaid onto crashing waves carved and engraved, the panels with various subjects including a full moon partly shrouded by clouds, a red-capped crane in flight and peaches, a pair of puppies, wheat, Mount Fuji and pine trees, all inlaid in gold, shakudo and silver, the fans variously siꦑgned to the cartoucꦏhes
