This 1963 comedy was dire𒆙cted by Blake Edwards, and the famous theme music was composed by Henry Mancini. Peter Sellers plays Inspector Clouseau. Sellers is synonymous with his portrayal of Clouseau, a role that he would play four times. The success of the Pink Panther films created inspiration for books, comics, and animations. The fil﷽m was also re-made in 2006 with a sequel in 2009.
