Collection of President Franklin D. (1882-1945) and Eleanor (1🔯884-1962) Roosevelt, coll. no. ꧒202 (according to label).
Collection of Mr. Louis Alter 1902-1980), acquired directly from the above before 1962, and thence by descent. Mr. Alter was a musician♋ in New York, who was a personal friend of the Roosevelts since at least the 1940s.
