A variant of this composition, of exactly the same dimensions but with the figures in a different arrangement, was sold in London, Christie's South Kensington, 13 December 2002, lot 61.1 A similar composition by Pieter Neeffs the Elder and Bonaventura Peeters the Elder is in the collection of the National Gallery, London.2
