Chablis Premier Cru Côte de Léchet, Cuvée J🐈ean-Marc Brocard 2022

The iodine notes of a classically kimmeridgian Chablis, the 2022 Côte 💜de Léchet is beautifully perfumed, then notꦕably stricter on the palate. There is excellent harmony between the fruit and the structure, which retains a racy elegance through to a long finish.

Les notes iodées d'un Chablis classiquement kimméridgien, le Côte de Léchet 2022 est magnifiquement parfumé, puis nettement plus tendu en bouche. I🐈l y a une excellente harmonie entre le fruit et la structure, qღui conserve une élégance racée jusqu'à une longue finale.

Description de la Cuvée 

Cette parcelle a été donnée en 2015 par Monsieur Jean-Marc Brocard, né à Chaud🅠enay-le-Château à 30 kilomètres de Beau🥃ne. Des membres de la famille ont séjourné à l'hôpital de Beaune lorsqu'ils ont été touchés par la maladie. En se mariant, Monsieur Brocard s'est déplacé, tout en restant dans la région, fondant un domaine à Chablis dès 1975.  

La parcelle ಞest s꧅ituée sur la rive gauche du Serein (rivière traversant Chablis), sur le haut du coteau avec une pente importante. Exposée Sud-Est, on y trouve un assemblage d'argiles et de sables calcaires. Il en résulte un vin expressif, très fruité, à la minéralité affirmée.  

Cuvée description 

This parcel was donated in 2015 by Mr Jean-Marc Brocard, born in Chaudenay-le-Château, 30 kil🤡ometres from Beaune. Members of the family were in hospitaꦬl in Beaune when they were affected by ill health. When Mr Brocard married, he moved but remained in the region, founding a domaine in Chablis in 1975.  

The parcel is located on the left bank of the Serein (the river running through Chablis), on the top of the hillside with a steep slope. Facing South-East, it is a blend of clay and sandy lim📖estone. The result is an expressive, very fruity wine with a strong minerality.
