Wel𓆉l potted with a deep bowl resting on a splayed foot pierced with apertures, the well-proportioned stembowl appears to have been assembled from the wheel-turned bowl and stem before the final cold painting of bright red that is still preserved on the exterior of the vessel and interior of the ♐rim.

The fragility of tꦯhe powdery cold-painted pigment suggests that the vessel was probably not destined for everyday use, and may have been reserved for ceremonial or burial purposes.
