Wirkkala’s Hopeakuu (Silver Moon) was first concieved in 1970. This
work from 1973 is modeled after the largest necklac🐻es and earrings in the original 1970 collection. It was inspired by antique jewels and the modernity o🅠f the age, and because the circles are different widths, they oscillate when worn.
