THE LUNAR🎉 MODULE CONTINGENCY CHECKLIST—USED BY ALDRIN DURING TRAINING FOR APOLLO 11
This checklist provides alternative procedures in the event of a Lunar Module (LM) system failure. It provides instructions to the Commanderꦛ and Lunar Module Pilot to deal with problems such as power failure, Descent or Ascent Engine failure, failure of the navigation system, or loss of communications between Mission Control and the Command Module. This checklist also includes the step-by-step procedure to prep the Lunar Module and crew for an EVA, or "spacewalk," between the Command Module and the Lunar Module by the LM crew in the event the Command and Service Module (CSM) tunnel could not be used for some reason. The checklist has red pages to highlightജ emergency procedures for situations such as fire or smoke in the cabin, failures to environmental systems (Oxygen, Heat, and Cooling), spacesuit failures, and engine failures.
