A Meissen gilt-metal mounted baluster vase, circa 1745-50, the m🌄ounts later
the vase painted with vignettes of figures after Watteau within moulded quatrefoil cartouches on a ground applied with densely packed bloom flowerheads, supported on a base pierced and cast with scrolls, the rim applied with foliage and suspending ribbon bows, the mounts with a spurious c poincon mark

Sotheby'🎐s Scient𒐪ific Research department used noninvasive XRF for this lot to screen the green enamel for chromium, which was not detected.
