Folio (ಞ298 x 195 mm). Large woodcut device on title, woodcut decorations and initials; without the initial and terminal blanks, some marginal staining in first two gatheringജs, a few rust-holes catching letters, marginal tear on K5 crossing text, some shoulder notes just touched by binder. 19th-century English paneled calf, morocco lettering-pieces on spine; recased, endpapers renewed, some light wear at extremities.
First edition in English of Aristotle’s Politics, translated into French by Loys Le Roy and then🍒 into English by John Dickenson.
