8 volumes including Supplement, folio (525 x 362mm). Dedication leaf, list of subscribers, 681 hand-colored lithographed plates by John and Elizabeth Gould or b💝y Gould and H.C. Richter, printed by Hullmandel & Walton, 3 plates double-page; a few stray spots, a few tiny closed marginal tears not affecting images, occasional and faint offsetting of plates into text leaves, as often found. Contemporary green morocco elaborately gilt, yellow endpapers; minor rubbing to extremities, minor shelfwear. A lovely copy.
