The reference 1675 was introduced in 1959 and was produced through 1980. This celebrated reference enjoyed a long production run, and various nuanced variations over the yea꧂rs. Rolex experimented with case shapes, dials configurations and new materials. 

Commonly referred to as "Cornino", the case of the present watch is of special interest as the eagle beak crown gu🍷ards were only produced for about four years from 1959-1963. The tiny variations of these vintage Rolex are details which stimulate a collector's interest and the present lot is a very appealing example, especially due to the development of a charming tropical patina that makes this dial unique.
