the foot gently domed and supporti𒉰ng baluster turned stem, the bowl of large size, surmounted by a domed cover, also of turned ivory and of turned ebony, the crest now formed by the Imperial double-headed eagle in bronze, the exterior of the rim hung with six commemorative medals in bronze, one specifically commemorating the end of the Thirty Years War and dated 1648, inside the lid a circular medallion engraved with an armorial device within palm fronds centred by a cross and surmounted by a foliate crown
