made in the 'Greek Style', these two baluster shaped vases made from Chinese porcelꦰain possess an ornate décor and feature painted scenes in vignettes along the bowl of the vase, painted butterflied with their wings spread sit above the vignettes just below the nape of the vase's neck, the neck itself with a draping golden garland which emphasises the preciousness of these vases
