The slightly more conservative case size ensures the timepiece sits perfectly on any wrist. Over the years, the indexes of the present watch have developed an attractive and consistent patina perfectly matching the hands. It is more rare with its black date discs that were exclusively used in the early stages of production, while many examples have a white disc replaced during servicing by Patek Philippe. Among collectors, the darker date disc has generally come to be more sought after, given the way it effortlessly blends into the design, greater perceived rarity and the fact that it tends to be found on earlier examples. In excellent condition, it is a super rare and early example for a watch of such age confirmed by its Extract from the Archives.
