Alexander MacKenzie was one of the first artists to💝 move from St. Ives to Newlyn on the South Coast of Cornwall. Alex was a life-l✃ong friend of Denis Mitchell and a frequent visitor to his studio which he shared with John Wells.
The present work hung f🎶or years in the dining room of Denis's house La Pietra in Newlyn.
