Corinne Day photographed a then-unknown Kate Moss for The Face in 1990. A slight variant of the pr꧂esent image, cropped to Moss’ face, appeared on the cover of the July 1990 issue of the magazine. Day’s photographs of the young model, taken in Camber Sands, East Sussex, would mark the beginning of Moss’ prolific career.
