This film was Franc Roddam's feature film directional debut. It is set🐬 in 1964 and follows Jimmy (Phil Daniels), a Mod from London, who breaks free from his boring life and annoying parents to join his friends and fellow Mods as they ride their scooters, party, and get caught up in a huge fight. All is not perfect as he discovers. The film provides an insight into the youth culture of the time. The cast also includes Leslie Ash, Toyah, Philip Davis, Mark Wingett, Sting, and Ray Winstone.
