A copper tea kettle bearing the same touchmark is located in Winterthur's DAPC files cited under Benjamin Sr., which states that two of their four kettles were likely made by his son. Benjamin Harbeson Jr. was a merchant, pewterer and coppersmith working in the Philadelphia area from 1785 to 1818. He is the first son of Benjamin Harbeson Sr. and brother to Robert and Joseph Harbeson.
