According to Brunet, the first work was printed by Aldo Manuzio the younger. A copy of Carlo Sigonio, printed by Guerra in 1564, also appeared with Aldo's imprint (UCLA 717.5), and an edition of James Criꦦghton from 1580 has a Guerra imprint but Renouard opined that it was actually printed by Aldo (Renouard 227/7; UCLA 925).


2 works in one volume, 8vo (149 x 98 mm). Italic type, 29 lines + 26 lines plus headline. collation: Beccuti: A-N8: 104 leaves (N8 blank). Woodcut device on title-page, woodcut initials and headpieces. Bocchi: A-B8, 16 leaves. Woodcut initials. (Beccuti lacking last two leaves containing device only, some staining. Bocchꦅi lacking title-page.)


binding: Later Italian vellum (156 x 107 mm). (A few wormho𝓰les, ꦡslightly damaged at foot.)
