binding: Contemporary Italian (Florentine?) black morocco with elaborate interlaced decoration composed of gilt and blind fillets with central cartouche lettered DI MICHELE DA PRATO on both covers (220 x 157 mm), spine with blind and gilt fillet decoration with small flower stamp in each compartment, edges gilt and gauffered to a knotwork design, stubs from four pairs of ties. (Binding slightly worn, text-blꦦock uneven resulting in some rubbing of edges, spine slightly worn with small tear at head.)
