The binding stamps are also found on bindings by the Second Binder of the monastery of San Salvatore, active in Bologna around 1525-1535 (A. Hobson and L. Quaquarelli, Legature bolognesi del Rinascimento, 1999, nos 33 and 35).
8vo (150 x 101 mm). Italic type, 30 lines plus headline. collation: a-h8: 64 leaves. Ownership entries to preliminaries, nဣumerous early annotations in red꧑ and brown ink. (Some dampstaining and soiling.)
binding: Contemporary Italian blind-stamped calf (157 x 105 mm), probably Bolognese, central stamp of a vase of flames within a double frame of a repeated leafy stamp, stไubs from two pairs of tie🅘s. (Binding refurbished with repairs at corners and ends of spine, a few wormholes, joints lightly cracked.)
