A pair of Staffo�💎�rdshire saltglaze white stoneware models of hawks, circa 1755
each similarly modelled perched on rockwork, the eyes, beaks and rockwork enriched in a lustrous 🧸brown glaze, the plumage incised
19cm. high, 7 1/2 in.
Panshanger , Hertfords🍷hire, possibly William, 2nd Earl Cowper or a descendant;
Thence by descent to the present owner.
