of elliptic cylindrical form, decorated with yellow gold interlacing wreaths contained within pink gold dot and dash borders over matt lilac and white grounds, the matrix with intertwined letters EET, in its original fitted case, struck with workmaster's initials and Fabergé in Cyrillic, 56 standard, scratched inventory number 11688
length 11.4cm; 4 1/2 in.
Acquired by the grandmother of the present owner in Russia or Paris in the first quarter of the 20th century.
