The Patek Philippe Golden Ellipse design was ൲first introduced in 1968. The b🗹old shape and glamorous case proportions drew immediate attention. The model is relied on the ancient Greek “golden section” ratio of 1 / 1.6181, heralded as the purest and most artistic way to depict harmonious shapes.
The Referenc♕e 3849 was the classic size manual winding Ellipse with a diamond-set bezel. It was produced in yellow and in white gold, with different dial configurations, flat or cabochon crowns, on a leather strap or on gold bracele𓂃t using one of the several pattern available.
This example is the rare white gold version with an integrated textured bracelet finished by the claspꦏ bearing the signature Calatrava cross. It has the elegant blue dial with diamond-set quarter indicators and minimalist baton hands. The cabochon crown, echoing the colour of the dial, adds the final touch of refinement t๊o the piece.
