This marked a significant milestone as it became the inaugural Nautilus to feature a chronograph complication. To achieve a cleaner dial layout, Patek ingeniously integrated all chronograph functions into a single co-axial subdial for elapsed minutes and hours. This design choice mirrored the innov✨ative approach seen in the annual calendar ref. 5960, which shared the same🔴 caliber.

Notably, the flyback chronograph function enables the wearer to reset the chronograph without halting it first.
