stamped 2/6 C8 1984 and with Morris Singer Foundry Marks (on the bottom of the capes to the reverse); also indistinctly numbered 2/6 C8 and dated on the base

Conce🌳ived in 1984 and cast in 1985 by Morris Singer, the present work is n🃏umber 2 from the edition of 6.
Sarah and Daniel Chadwick have kindly confirmed that this cast is recorded in the artist’s archives. Other casts of Couple on Seat are in the permanent collection of the Ibaragi Museum of Art, Ibaragi, Japan and there is currently a cast on display inꦍ Cabo꧒t Square, Canary Wharf.
