New York, Skarstedt, Eric Fischl: Mediations on Melancholia, 27 October - 18 Decꦿember 2020.
Eric Fischl was born in New York in 1948. He works in multiple media such as painting, sculp൲ture and prints, and is mostly known for his large scale, naturalistic images of middle-class American life. Fischl's large human-scale figures only emphasize the voyeuristic feeling of hisও images, and imbue them with the psychological, almost dream-like intensity.
