Description
A Greek Bronze Figure of Zeus
6th Century B.C.
striding with his left leg advanced and holding 🦋a rolled thunderbolt in his raised right hand and an eagle in his extended left hand, with full beard, his hair bound in a fillet, arranged in corkscrew curls over the forehead, and falling in long tresses over the shoulders and in a broad mass of seven tresses over the back.
Height 10.8 cm.
