畫者略傳：張復，字元春，號苓石，江🌃蘇太倉人。善於兼收並蓄，兼得荊關、馬夏筆意，並有大癡、石田趣味。少年時師從錢榖，博𓆉採眾長，至晚年則自成一家。王世貞稱其為「小友」，經常邀其作畫、出遊，評價「吳中丹青一派，所見無過元春者」。
