While J𝔉ulian Van Winkle III placed most of the A.H. Hirsch bourbon in steel tanks once it hit 16 years old, he left a few barrels to continue aging. The result was this stunning 20-year-old, the oldest A.H. Hirsch ever. Released somewhere between 1994 and 1995 in Van Winkle’s signature green-glass bottles, it is considered the pinnacle of the A.H. Hirsch line and among the greatest of what American whiskey has to offer.
