Leica's Zeitmesser watches represent the German company's history of manufacturing cameras and photographic lenses. Leica introduced the L2 with a sapphire domed watch glass inspired by the front element of a Leica camera's lens. The L2 was launched in February 2022 with a case diameter of 41mm and a black dial adorned with applied indexes, surrounded by a white hour track. The power reserve displayed through an indicator which imitates a camera shutter opening and closing.
