The reference 2915 as a whole was only in producti♐on from 1957 to 1959, and therefore t🐲here are very few surviving examples.

The present lot is from the second iteration of the first Speedmaster, which is identical to the 2915-1; in fact, the only difference is the case back number as even 🅷movement serial numbers are in🍬tertwined between the two.

The early Speedmasters all had minor variations, particularly to the bezel. Some examples feature flat 3’s on the 300, some rounded, some with serifs and others without. Some of the bezels are be𒉰lieved to never have had t🏅he black paint applied to the numerals.
