Launched in 1972, the Royal Oak marked a pivotal🏅 moment for Audemars Piguet, redefining luxury and positioning the brand as a leader in a new market segment. More importantly, it transformed the company’s internal culture—ᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚup until then, Audemars Piguet had hardly worked with stainless steel, a material that would become central to the Royal Oak’s identity.
Nearly 20 years later, Audemars Piguet introduced the Royal Oak Offshore, a bold reinterpretation by designer Emmanuel Gueit. His design of a larger, sportier Royal Oak faced criticism from🍬 Gérald Genta, the original Royal Oak designer, yet it resonated with younger collectors who appreciated the oversized case. While remaining true to Genta’s signature elements—such as the octagonal bezel and tapisserie dial—Gueit injected a rugged appeal with the𝕴 addition of a chronograph and Therban® rubber accents, making the line more dynamic.
The present Royal Oak Offshore, has an elegant silvered dial housed in a pink gold case with a matching pink gold bracelet. Adding to its allure, this exceptional timepiece comes with the unique provenance of having beenꦓ worn and consigned directly by Tom Brady.
