Reprint of the 1520 first edition, printed in 1535 by Andre꧑as Schobser, the codification of the Bavarian Landsrecht of 1516. This edition uses the titular woodcut of the first edition from 1520, depicting the brother Dukes of Bavaria at a 🌺table surrounded by an audience drawn from all levels of society. It is the work of Caspar Clofigl, a Munich artist who served as court-painter to Duke William IV from about 1516 to 1529 (Hollstein V p.195, Clofigl 4).
