PORTRAITS OF HEROE𝔉S FROM THE GREEK WAR OF INDEPENDENCE. "Krazeisen accompanied [Carl Wilhelm] von Heideck and the Bavarian philhellenes to Greece in 1826 as first lieutenant. He was an amateur artist who made drawings throughout his stay in Greece, which included periods in Nauplion, Poros, Damilas, Zakinthos and Athens. His original drawings are now in possession of the National Gallery, Athens" (Blackmer).
