In 1932, the world was introduced to a gentlemen’s dress watch that wil🌠l go on to define all dresswatches. With the introduction of the Reference 96, Patek Philippe & Cie unveiled a timeless time only wristwatch thaꦚt went on to set the benchmark for dresswatches in the decades to come with its modern and understatedly luxurious design that addresses both form and function. With time, the collection of beautiful, time only wristwatches by Patek that followed the form of the Reference 96 will go on to be named the Calatrava.

An iconic example of the Calatrava collection, the Reference 3445 was introduced in 1961 and in production until the early 1980s. It is notable for being the first Pate🏅k Philippe self-winding, waterproof watch with a date that was produced in a ser𝄹ies. Our present 3445J is further distinguished by its double signed dial featuring the signature of esteemed Venezuelan retailer Serpico Y Laino.

Founded in 1925, Serpico y Laino was the leading luxury🦩 watch retailer in Venezuela for roughly 40 years until their closure in 1966. Crea🍬ted by Vicente Laino and Leopoldo Serpico, the Caracas-based company specialized in watches, and were the exclusive retailer for Rolex and Patek Philippe in Venezuela.

We are pleased to offer the present double🥃 signed Reference 3445, a rare example that captures a significantꦯ moment in horology history.
