Description
Château La Fleur Pétrus 2019
Pomerol
Cases still banded
Merlot 94%, Cabernet Franc 5%, Petit Verdot 1%. In 2022, this is an absolute show-stopper. An extraordinary, dramatic nose, with a touch of oak still there. ♑;A splendid array of red and black fꦉruit on the
palat🍸e, astonishing. Luscious, opulent and so 'edible', with sumptuous plums and cherries, plus great, classic structure. This goes on for ev🧜er.....The trio of 2018, 2019 and 2020 makes me reflect on that other magical trio, 1947, 1948 and 1949 - we have nirvana ahead of us.
