Description

Dom Ruinart, Blanc de Blancs 2002

Excellent levels and appearance

In 2017, an incredibly floral nose, jetting out of the glass at you - broom, hay😼 and mayblossom. From the winemaker's point of view, this is 'the kind of year where you do not learn as much as others', due to the ideal conditions of 2002 - this can only benefit us! An element of pomegranates throughout, unusual for Chardonnay, and a very mineral, saline finish. A gloriously seductive and succulent Champagne and cracking Dom Ruinart. Serena Sutcliffe, MW
