The painter Carlsson, Stockholm and Hudiksvall (by 1901) [Carlsson, to whom Göran Sꦉöderström attribu𝓡tes the scene of the capercaillies on the reverse of the present work but about whom little is known, was presumably a friend of Strindberg's];
