The Turkish phenom, Şengün, has gained the honorable nickname, 'Baby Jokic.' He has represented the Tuཧrkish national team since playing for their U-16 team in 2018 where they won a bronze medal at the FIBA Europe U-16 Championship. He also led the Turkey U-18 team to a silver medal at the FIBA Europe U-18 Championship and played for professional teams in Turkey before being drafted by the Rockets in 2021.
