THE FIRST SPACEWALK.
This incredible image shows Voskhod 2 Pilot Alexei Leonov performing humanity's 𒁃first ever spacewalk on March 18, 1965. Upon Commander Pavel Belyayev's depressurization of the airlock, Leonov opened the hatch, exited the airlock, and extended away from the spacecraft the full length of his 5.35m/17.6 ft umbilওicus.
