There are some closed tears to the top edge of the f♚ront panel, and some slight rub🍬bing at the spine tips and corners.

There is a slight patch of abrasion to the tail of the spine, marking the𝓰 ‘H’ in Methuen.

There are little handling marks throughout.

It has not been price clipped.

The gilt tooling is immaculate a𒁃nd without breaks.

The text blocks are almost without blemish, however there is one to the gilt on the top ed🍨ge.

There is a small previous own✱ers signature to the front preliminary, dated to the year of publication i♕n a neat hand.
