- J.R.R Tolkien (English).
- Includes: The Fellowship of the Ring, The Two Towers, and The Return of the King.
- Australian: George Allen and Unwin, 1954-1955.
- All volumes complete with folded maps of Middle Earth tipped in onto recto.
- Original dust wrappers which have not been price-clipped and with no restoration, now housed in a custom-made slipcase showing the Eye of Sauron.
The Fellowship of the Ring:
- A first edition, first printing published in 1954.
- One of 3000 first state copies.
The Two Towers:
- A first edition, first printing published in 1954.
- One of 3250 first state copies.
The Return of the King:
- A first edition, first printing published in 1955.
- One of 7000 copies, with signature mark ‘4’ present on page 49 and sagging text to ‘Legolas’.
- Originally designated as first state by Hammond/Anderson, later corrected by Wayne Hammond (The Tolkien Collector, Issue 11).

A very good book with �꧙�fading and wear to the spine – no inscriptions.
Red topstain present and complete.
Map to the r♕ear is present and has tape burns to the top corner.
Of💦f𓃲-setting to the endpapers – light stain to the foot of the page block.
In the very good (or bette🉐r) dust wrapper which is un🥀clipped showing 21s as called for.
A small internalౠ repair to a closed✅ tear to the foot of the spine and one to the top edge.
Some light wear to the spine tips and corners.
The Two Towers:
A very🐈 good book with fading and some stainin🎶g to the boards.
No inscriptions – spotting and off-setting to the endpape💛rs.
Topstain present and complete.
Wear to the board edges and corners.
Map to the rear present and complete.
In the very good (or better) dust wrapper which is complete with a🐈 couple of very light stains to the top of the spine – some rubbing to the corners.

The Return of the King:
A n🐲ear fine book without inscriptions – some off-setting to the endpapers.
A little rubbing to the edges and corners.
Map is present to the rear of the book.
