C ollected together for the very first time ar💟e more than three decades of portraits taken by Davis Factor. Capturing some of the most important actors and celebrities of the era, presented here is a snapshot of ෴Hollywood glamour today.
In 1990, acclaimed photographer Davis Factor and his brother Dean, the great-grandsons of𒅌 Max Factor, founded Smashbox Studios to give beauty and creativity a home in LA.
“We wanted to create a culture. Not just a studio. We didn’t want to exclude anybody. We wanted to plant a s🌌eed so people could grow and that meant eve🦂ryone was welcome.”
The new studio quickly became a hub for world-class photographers, acꦇtors, models and musicians. In 1996, Davis and Dean debuted Smashbox Cosmetics and a new era began. Davis and Dean soon founded Photogenics Model Management and in 2003 established Mercedes Benz Los Angeles Fashion Week, held at Smashbox Studios.
