I n the first of its kind, Sotheby’s will stage a selling exhibition dedicated to the evolution of men’s jewelry from the mid-19th century to the present day. Much like the fashion runway trends of recent years, jewelry’s gender borders have been dissolving, and while male appreciation for jewelry is nothing new, there’s been an evolution in style. Comprising approximately 100 pieces, For the Boys: A Jewelry Exhibition will showcase antique and vintage designs from the dis🐬tinguished houses of Van Cleef & Arpels, Cartier, Tiffany & Co, Verdura𝐆, David Webb and more, all the way up to modern and contemporary pieces from Chrome Hearts, NN by Nghi, Johnny Nelson, David Yurman and Shaun Leane. Through its meticulously curated selection, the exhibition will commemorate the various styles, trends, and muses of men’s jewelry throughout the decades.
